So I am very happy to bring you this brief and easy tutorial, which explains the steps you’ll need to take in Photoshop to get your scanned lettering/calligraphy onto a photograph.

You will need Photoshop for this class. This class is split up in 2 short videos. Enjoy!

The class project is for you to layer your calligraphy/hand-lettering onto a digital photograph.

Begin by scanning your calligraphy (go high 600 dpi; you can always reduce the size later) and open the file in Photoshop. Choose a photograph and open it in Photoshop. Follow the steps in the class videos to complete this project.
