Description

In this Skillshare class, you will learn about the key elements in visual communication as well as the different types of data we most commonly deal with and how to best visualize them. This class is for anyone (students, teachers, entrepreneurs, etc. with any level of knowledge) who wants to learn how to effectively represent data/information through an infographic.

You will learn

You’re going to create an infographic of the recipe for your favorite meal. Below are a few guiding questions:

  • What are the ingredients?
  • How much of the ingredients are needed?
  • What are the instructions?
  • How long does it take?
  • How many servings does the recipe make?

Use what you learned about how to best represent different kinds of data/information. Be creative and make it personal!

The infographic can be done through any medium or software — Tableau, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel, Prezi, MS Paint or even just pen and paper!

Upload your projects in .jpg format on the class project gallery. Sharing is good for you as a creator and could also inspire the community!

Requirements

There is no prerequisite, anyone can begin this course.. This course is also great for beginners without any UI/UX Design knowledge.
