Description

You want fly your drone commercially or for public safety. Now you can, after passing the FAA’s Remote Pilot Certification exam (UAG). The Drone Professor’s video lessons can you get there.  In all, almost 1,000 students studied my courses.
What you get out of this course totally depends on the effort and attention you put into it. It’s designed to teach you what you need to know, in the shortest time.  It’s all about safety and safety is serious business. It’s not really meant to be entertaining.
I am a Part §107 certified drone pilot. I passed the exam on the first hour of the first day it was offered. I teach in terms YOU can understand and relate to. I teach understanding, because understanding is the key to knowledge, and knowledge is the foundation of safety.  I’m certified as a Public Safety instructor by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and I passed the FAA’s Fundamentals of Instruction exam as well.
This is an accelerated course, designed to give you the maximum training in the minimum time.
Because of my unique background and the way I write my courses, my students are better prepared to score high on FAA exams.  Your goal is to understand what you need to know to pass the FAA exam.  This course represents your good investment toward that goal.
The Course:
The FAA lists twelve specific subject areas which the UAV operator should know to prepare for the Remote Pilot Certification exam, as described in section §107.73  for “initial and recurrent knowledge tests” and in FAA-S-ACS-10, the Remote Pilot Small UAS Airman Certification Standards.
•(1) applicable regulations relating to small UAS rating privileges, limitations, and flight operation;
•(2) airspace classification and operating requirements, obstacle clearance requirements,  flight restrictions affecting small UAS operation;
•(3) official sources of weather and effects of weather on small UAS performance;
•(4) small UAS loading and performance;
•(5) emergency procedures;
•(6) crew resource management;
•(7) radio communication procedures;
•(8) determining the performance of small UAS;
•(9) physiological effects of drugs and alcohol;
•(10) aeronautical decision-making and judgment
•(11) airport operations
•(12) maintenance and inspection procedures
•Includes: Operations Over People, Night Operations and Remote ID updates
Those are the areas covered in this training course.
The FAA does not certify drone training courses and does not provide schools with actual test questions. Their goal, and mine, is for you to understand the material, not memorize answers. Please note, however, while the course materials are based on the FAR §107  knowledge testing requirements and the FAA Remote Pilot ACS, the Airman Certification Standards for the UAS exam. The FAA does not provide test questions to instructors, no matter what some may imply.  When my students report what they missed, I revise and update my courses to put more emphasis on those areas.
OVER 850 STUDENTS HAVE ENROLLED IN THIS COURSE. New quizzes and sample tests have been added. Videos are continually updated and revised. Updated for the new rules: Remote ID, Night Operations and Operation Over People.
