Description

Some excursions we all make when traveling can be duplicated at home in an interesting way, and provide almost as much fun!

We continue our Travel Sketchbook at Home series with a trip to a wonderful Bookstore that has lots of books on the subjects we like best, and we visit a very “local” restaurant and have the “Specialty of the House”.

This class is filled with lots of sketching and painting tips as always, and you will complete a couple of wonderfully entertaining spreads in your sketchbook.

You will learn

Will will take a pretend trip to a great bookstore and then have the “specialty of the House” at a local restaurant. Our experiences will be so much fun that we will record them in our travel sketchbook. Our class project is to complete 2-4 pages in our sketchbook on the subjects of books and food.

What You Will Learn and Do:

How to draw lots of simple things and use them to design and complete “travel” sketchbook pages.

Techniques learned will include painting with water soluble media like pencils and markers along with your watercolors.

Page layout tips for arranging object drawings with design harmony, will make your sketchbook a thing of beauty.
