In this course, we will try to describe and understand the social movements in a global perspective. This means we must evaluate the causes and evolution of social movements in historical context. We must deal with the relative importance of political, economic, and social forces in creating and sustaining social movements. The significance of race, ethnicity and gender will also be explored for this matter.
After the course, you will be able to:

In this context, you will be proficient in the general definition of social movements and other issues that are in contact with this topic.
