This experience will allow you not only to learn about this extraordinary drawing technique, but also how important is telling stories through lines, shadows and strokes. On the other hand, this master course in drawing is a unique learning experience, enginered using storytelling. The main goal is immersing you in the environment of the 17th century so you can turn into a protagonist of the baroque itself.
SECOND VOLUME
In Volume 2 of the Bey Atelier on Baroque Drawing we will tackle the full-length portrait drawing, using for inspiration the work of the greatest of masters, CARAVAGGIO. We will address his life and legacy to learn how his turbulent life stimulated the development of his extraordinary paintings. From here, you will learn from an analytical and schematic point of view to understand the human body and its gender differences. Through practical exercises we will approach the construction of the body, using the technique of relating shapes and angles.
In this Volume 2 we will tackle two live full-length portraits, to develop all the knowledge obtained not only in this Volume 2 but also in volume 1 of the Bey Atelier. The most important thing about this second volume is that, on the one hand, we will enrich the live exercises by learning to draw fabrics, shiny objects, still lifes and elements close to the human body to learn to understand the space where our character is perched; and secondly you will learn to add creative elements to your drawing to tell a story and really turn it into a masterpiece.
