This course is for

• This workshop is for all levels of people interested in learning about t-shirt design. No prior software knowledge is necessary. Unlike my other courses, this workshop does not include intermediate or advanced instruction using design software like Photoshop or Illustrator. This course does not have step-by-step graphic design or software tutorials. It does, however, cover a wide range of topics that provide context and essential knowledge for anyone wanting to become a professional t-shirt graphic designer.

Ray’s extensive background in the surf apparel industry started in 2002. Since then he has designed for many of the top surf apparel brands in California and Hawaii, such as O’Neill, Billabong, Ocean Pacific, BodyGlove, and Local Motion. He is the founder of TheVectorLab, a website that offers graphic design resources, tools, and tutorials. As a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and Florida State University his experience is backed by a mix of business and design knowledge.
