Most states have a simple process to starting a mobile PT practice. You register an LLC, and that’s pretty much it! However, in California, things aren’t this straightforward. It took me several hours and a few headaches to figure out everything that needs to be done legally when I started my practice. There wasn’t a comprehensive resource that walked me through the process, and a lawyer would have been expensive. To save you time and frustration, I made this brief course walking you through the process. My course will walk you through the intimidating, but doable process of forming your mobile PT practice in California. By purchasing this course, in addition to the content hosted here on Udemy, you will also gain access to a private Facebook group where you can bounce questions off of me and other California physical therapists. Please note that I will not teach you how to run your business. There are plenty of other helpful resources that focus on this, some of which I have used myself.

You will learn

✓ Understanding compliance and your legal obligations as a mobile direct access physical therapist
✓ Where and how to file the appropriate paperwork to California agencies
✓ Where and how to file the appropriate paperwork to the IRS
✓ Which extra steps to take in order to further solidify your practice’s formation

• You must be a licensed physical therapist in the state of California
• You must have the desire to create your own mobile direct access physical therapy practice

This course is for

• Physical therapists in the state of California who want to start their own mobile practice, but worry about experiencing a bureaucratic nightmare in the process
• This IS NOT a course on how to build a thriving practice; this IS a course on how to officially get your business in the books
