Join mixed media artist, Lucie Duclos, for a whirlwind of printmaking techniques in this new skillshare class: Print, Stamp and Roll. If you liked her popular Collage and Go class, you are going to love this one too!
In this class, you will learn how to make awesome textures and patterns to create your own collage papers. The class will focus on 3 specific techniques; printing, stamping and rolling. Printing with a scratch-foam plate, stamping with sticky back foam and found objects, and rolling with your own handmade rollers created with rubber bands, cord, corrugated paper, foam, etc.
This class is really about experimenting and letting go! Even if you do something that you don’t really like at first, you would be surprised how cool it could look if you just use a little piece of it in your collage. Still don’t like it? Roll over it and see what happens!
In your class project, we will use all the techniques we’ve learned and create some super cool envelopes and a series of postcards using a quick little collage exercise.
