The New PMP® Exam Pattern comprises of the following:
•Domain 1: People (42%)
•Domain 2: Process (50%)
•Domain 3: Business Environment (8%)
Changes in New Pattern:
•180 questions (the previous exam was 200) but the same number of questions will be scored
•230 minutes to complete the exam
•One additional break for a total of two 10-minute breaks for computer-based tests. No scheduled breaks for paper-based exams.
You should also understand the following:
•Domain: Defined as the high-level knowledge area that is essential to the practice of project management.
•Tasks: The underlying responsibilities of the project manager within each domain area.
•Enablers: Illustrative examples of the work associated with the task. Please note that enablers are not meant to be an exhaustive list but rather offer a few examples to help demonstrate what the task encompasses.
To become a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) you need to pass the PMP® exam, which consists of 180 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 4 hours. These practice papers will guide you on the type of questions which you will come across in the PMP® Exam. It is important to note that no question is ever repeated in the PMP® Exam. So you need to attempt these practice papers with 180 questions each and try to score above 80% to clear the exam.
