Welcome to Co-Forward Coaching’s Personal Finance Course. My name is Lauren Fant and I am the owner of Co-Forward Coaching. I have a background in finance, mathematics, and psychology. Throughout my career, schooling, and life experience, I have had to encounter situations that required my own personal finance knowledge. This caused me to be able to think on my toes and try my best to make decisions that I wouldn’t have to pay negative consequences for later. Since I have taken the time to learn from those experiences and gain information through my education, I would like to help you be able to take a proactive approach rather than a reactive one. The purpose of this course is to provide a deep dive into the foundation of personal finance. Many people have expressed that they were not taught this information in school, at work, or even at home. There are a variety of reasons why this may be the case, but it has been shown that the cycle is continuing with the future generations as well. With money being the tool that rules everything in this country, it is of utmost importance to be able to use that tool in the most beneficial way. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to bring this information to you. So let’s begin.
