Description

Today’s consumers live in a world full of choices.  They live in a world full of decisions.  How do they make these decisions, and what can you do to influence them?  In this class, we’ll dive deeply into the numerous decisions a consumer make prior to actually making a purchase.  By understanding this decision making process, we’ll be able to put together a plan to influence the process so the decisions would be made in our favor.

You will learn

Map Your Consumer Decision Journey

In this class, you have learned the various stages of the Consumer Decision Journey

  1. Trigger
  2. Initial Consideration
  3. Active Evaluation
  4. Purchase
  5. Post-Purchase Experience

For each stage, there are five planning factors

  • Enablers
  • Barriers
  • Unique Selling Points
  • Tactics
  • Desired Responses

For each stage, map out these five planning factors.  At the end, evaluate your plan and make revisions as necessary.

The attached PDF file serves as a template.  Feel free to complete this project in whatever format that may be easiest for you.  I’ve even done this with post-it notes on the wall!
