This course covers how to build Machine Learning models from scratch using Python and Scikit-learn libraries. Course structure is captured below

  • Machine Learning process
  • Python, NumPy, Pandas basics
  • Building classification models using Scikit-learn
  • Deploying classification models using Python Flask web framework
  • Building Regression models using Scikit-learn

As a prerequisite students should have basic programming skills and high school level Mathematics knowledge before getting started with this course. No prior knowledge of Machine Learning is required.

You will learn

Using the attached storeurchase.csv data, identify top 5 customers who are likely to buy a new product based on their past purchase history. Please find below the steps that need to be executed to determine the top 5 customers

1. Separate out the independent and dependent variables from the dataset

2. Feature scale the data

3. Using KNN, build a classifier model which will predict whether a person with s certain age and salary will buy the product or not.

4. Feed the entire dataset to the model and determine the probability of each customer buying the product.

5. Sort the dataset by probability and select top 5 customers.
