I love altering and modifying my Tarot and oracle decks to make them my own. While this course does focus on Tarot and Oracle decks you could apply these modifications to playing cards as well.
In this course, you will learn three of the most common types of deck modification; edging, trimming, and rebacking your decks. You’ll also learn how to avoid common mistakes when modifying your decks as well as some of the best supplies for the tasks. I will walk you through each of these types of modifications as we work on transforming a couple of different decks during the course of this class.
Have you ever had a deck that you want to love but just can’t connect with, modifying the deck could be just what you need to make it a workable deck. I have turned decks I thought I’d never be able to work with into cherished members of my deck rotation with some of these modifications. While modifying decks can take a good bit of time, in addition to personalizing your deck you can also take time to connect with it on a deeper level.
