Description

Picasa is an awesome program, free to use from Google and with a little practice you can get the wow factor from your photographs. Photoshop is a great program, but if you’re new to photo editing, Picasa is a great place to start.
You can download it for free for either your Mac or PC, installation is easy and we will guide you through that, and using it is pretty simple and straight forward.
You might be an experienced photographer and editor but you might want to consider Picasa if you have run out of Photoshop licenses for your “other” computers.
Create beautiful images with Picasa’s special effects or just create good clean images when your images need minor adjustments.
We’ll show you how to white balance your images and then step though cropping and other manipulation to get the best out of them.
We’ll show you how to save them out, create slide shows and even prepare you to send them to a lab near you for printing.

Picasa, no wonder so many people are using it now!

Real life Photographer and Instructor
I am a real life Photographer, computer guru and instructor. I love working in media and have been involved in it in one aspect or another since high school. I couldn’t wait to get the first computers when they really became affordably available to the masses, and at every opportunity I did everything possible to advance my own photography from the film (analog) mode to the digital world. A lot of software has come and gone, many tools we first used are no longer available but new ones have sprung up and made this world of digital into the most fascinating realm and we are privileged to be right in the middle of it. A hundred years from now they are going to look back and wish they could have been around during this time.
