Client Script Overview
SuiteScript allows developers and administrators to create flexible business logic within NetSuite tailored to specific business need from sophisticated business processes to entirely new applications.
•Client scripts are SuiteScripts executed in the browser. They can run on most standard records, custom record types, and custom NetSuite pages.
•Generally, client scripts are used to validate user-entered data and to auto-populate fields or sublists at various form events.
Form-level and Record-level Client Scripts
•Form-based client scripts run against specific fields and forms. Record-level client scripts.
•Record-level client scripts can also be used on forms and lists that have been generated through UI Objects during Suite lets development.
How Many Client Events Can I Execute on One Form?
