This arrangement is in the key of C and revolves around only three chords, C, G and F. I will you through the piece “note by note”.
Happy Birthday is a surprisingly difficult song to play well on guitar. When you try to sing it with just chords it never sounds quite right. This fingerstyle version follows the melody exactly and it will sound great on its own, or as a singalong.
