CourseMarks Score® helps students to find the best classes. We aggregate 18 factors, including freshness, student feedback and content diversity.
Course content can become outdated quite quickly. After analysing 71,530 courses, we found that the highest rated courses are updated every year. If a course has not been updated for more than 2 years, you should carefully evaluate the course before enrolling.
New courses are hard to evaluate because there are no or just a few student ratings, but Student Feedback Score helps you find great courses even with fewer reviews.
The top online course contains a detailed description of the course, what you will learn and also a detailed description about the instructor.

For the class project I invite you to go through all of the things discussed and evaluate your overall digital presence online.
For each one, rate yourself from 1 – 10 points, with 1 being the worst and you aren’t doing it, and 10 being the best where you don’t need any help. BE HONEST. I hope this class shows you how important each item is and that you may need to improve every one.
Also write a note beside each one that give a summary why you rated the way you did.
Add up all the points and see where you stand. If you score:
50 – 40 = Your digital presence is good. You can focus on more advanced digital marketing
40 – 30 = Not bad overall, see how you can expand your marketing and improve
30 – 20 = Not good, work on the areas with the lowest score first. You may need outside help
20 – 0 = Your need some serious help! You may want to enlist the help of others
So an example would be:
6 – Web Design (Web site is responsive but a bit old and content not fresh)
4 – Local SEO and Directories (Listed in a few directories but need a lot more)
4 – Social Media Presence (Posting to Facebook once a week thats it)
6 – Reputation and Reviews (Lots of positive reviews on Google)
3 – Search Engine Optimization (Only ranking for business name and one other keyword on first page)
0 – Paid Traffic (Not doing)
—————————
23 – TOTAL
(Not good overall, need to work on search engine optimization, paid traffic for a boost, new website content, posting more on social media)
