You will learn

Download the ‘Excel Lookup & Reference Functions’ file and complete the following tasks:

  1. In the tab named ‘All Sales Data‘ enter a VLOOKUP formula in cell J2 to return the Total Sales from column F, then drag the formula down so all the Total Sales figures are entered in column J
  2. Delete the Total Sales data you’ve just entered in column J, and now enter an XLOOKUP formula instead to return the Total Sales data in column J
  3. Now go to the second tab named ‘Florida Sales Data‘, and enter a HLOOKUP formula to return the Q2 Sales value for Tampa in cell B10
  4. Lastly, go to the third tab named ‘Race Times and enter an XLOOKUP formula in cell D11 using the ‘Exact match or next smaller item’ match mode to return the Prize, and drag the formula down so all three prize values are returned
