Biography
Nilanko Mallik, an educator and researcher, is an alumnus of Presidency College, Kolkata (now Presidency University) and Arizona State University, USA. He obtained his doctorate degree in Neurolinguistics by researching treatment of aphasia by selective reading of Shakespeare. He has authored some academic books for undergraduate students studying English in India and has also been published in peer-reviewed journals.



Besides teaching and researching, he also plays the piano, and has taken a few courses to substantiate his knowledge in Western Classical music.

He is the founder of Shakespeare Youth Performances, a cultural and research unit aimed at making the works of Shakespeare more lively to the modern audience.
