Creative Art Therapy is a great way to relax, destress and feel happy in the creative pursuit of the art form.
It can be done individually or in a group, hence the advantage of having this as a hobby is immense.
Either painting, drawing or colouring patterns, landscapes or character sketches, animal or human figurines come under the art part of it.
Visual imagery is magnified and expressed as a release for pent up thoughts or just as a way of giving your perspective in anything, in an outlet that works well for you, at your time, under the sun, that included.
Flexibility of this hobby, time wise, material wise, etc make this all a great way to promote yourself in any social platform or just find inner peace and solace in doing it.
Dance, as a creative therapy has immense benefits, health wise, as a form of musically accompanied exercise, while other creative professions like writing can give you a career that you enjoy and do well in too, financially, if all goes well.
Storytelling in a creative way, playing a musical score, or composing one, sculpture, pottery are all traditional ways, ones which our ancestors found joy in, by forming things of beauty with their hands and sheer imagination.
It kept their minds busy, alert, focused and provided a way to concentrate and let out their feelings, in a good way.
Today, digital art online with a computer software program is another technological way of doing this.
It offers various tools that you can master and use to easily enhance your art, in infinite possible ways.
For me, personally, creative art therapy has given me a fun individualized way to find my hidden talents and display skills learnt, over a course of time, on social media and connect ultimately with others, around the world, while doing so.
