Hello everyone and welcome to our course!
This is intended as a brief introduction into the subtle, yet complex art of giving effective feedback. We have addressed some basics of candid feedback as well as some of the more nuanced elements of giving feedback. Feedback is an essential component of how we communicate with other people, and yet we’re never taught how to do it right. It can be uncomfortable and awkward, but that’s why it is critical to improve your skills in this area.
Hopefully this course can help you get started on building more honesty into your relationships, and therefore gaining more personal and professional satisfaction.
While this course will give you a great overview of the principles of candid feedback, there is no substitute for practice. Practice as much as you can! We have included some sample case studies and we would love to hear your approach to solving these. We would also like to hear about your personal feedback adventures!
Remember that this will be an ongoing practice – with each new experience you may learn something different. So while you may never be “perfect” at feedback, you can keep improving as you grow.
Thank you so much for taking the time to go through our course. We hope you enjoy it!
Best,
Mira Saraf & Team PrisMind
