Description

In this course we will be laying the foundation for drawing garments.
In the first section we will be learning to draw basic folds and progress from simple to more complex forms.
In the second section we will be looking at hanging folds and various ways that they are used in icons and will study some examples by master iconographers.
In the theirs section we will learn how to create volume with line and will study an icon from the Comnene Period to see how it is done.
In an upcoming series we will be studying the garments of various saints to put this into practice. 

You will learn

Requirements

• Pencil and Paper.
• It is recommended that students have already completed the Series 1 on Drawing the Face and Series 2 on Drawing the Half-Figure
