The Story
I have one friend whose name Aniket. He is my friend since college. After college he didn’t want to do the job so he started to continue running his traditional family business of Clothing rental. The first thing he did after coming to his shop is, he claimed his Google my Business listing and after it he captured good pictures of his shop with camera and optimized his listing. Now you see this as very small step a person can do for their business. But you know what happened after doing it? Are you ready to hear this? The Result was mind boggling.
The Result
After listing the result was shocking. After a month of listing he started to see that he is getting 1000 views per month on his Google my Business. Let me tell what this 1000 views means, 1000 real human eyes had seen his listing without spending a penny. Now what’s his profit? Let’s say 10% of them got converted so this mean that he got 100 additional customers to his shop.
What you can learn from this?
Just one right step can skyrocket your business. But you know what nothing happened overnight he put in the work. He learned to make good listing, he learned how to rank his listing in his town, he learned how to post appealing picture he learned lots of thing that most people are not willing learn. He learned that’s why he is earning. As Warren Buffet says ”The more you LEARN the more you EARN”.
For what I am here?
After analyzing a lot of google listing (including my friend’s listing), after researching data & figures I came to some conclusion what make a good Google my business listing. For a while I wondered what works and what doesn’t but now I have some answers and I have documented it in this course. Earlier I thought to make good long course, but there are lots of impatient people and they want everything fast. So I came up with the idea that I will cover everything in just one hour. And you know about Pareto’s law 80% result comes from 20% listing. So this is that 20%. And what’s price of all this? Even less than buying a pizza.
