Through this tutorial you will learn the following skills:

  • Using the frame animation tool
  • Changing a layer visibility
  • Export an animation into a GIF file
  • Transform a selection
  • Redefine edges of a selection

This video is provided with its corresponding exercise files that you can download (Check the section Class Project).

You will learn

With the project files available, you can practice the creation of an animation using your own creativity! Here I give you a hot air balloon as a .png file without a background, and a beautiful sky. You will have to:

  • Create a new photoshop file containing both images, each on a separate layer
  • Create a new frame by frame animation for the hot air balloon after defining the trajectory
  • Save your file and export the animation as a .gif file

You will also find the exercise files used in this video, as a separate compressed .rar file.
